IB-examiner-grade curriculum,
taught by an AI you actually control.
Thetas was co-designed with an active IB Mathematics examiner. Edit the tutor's prompts, tune scoring per class, watch each student's Understanding / Adaptability / Flexibility live — without grading every attempt yourself.
Student management
Your whole class, at a glance.
Add students with a single join link, and watch each one's mastery and homework completion update live. Assign — or auto-generate — practice tuned to where they're stuck, and export any set as a print-ready PDF.
Course management
You decide what's in the course.
Toggle exactly which topics and sub-topics a class sees, so students only ever practise what you're teaching this term. The rest of the syllabus stays out of sight until you're ready to open it up.
AI customization
Shape the AI to teach your way.
Edit the lesson workflow node-by-node, rewrite the tutor's system prompts, and tune progression gates like the mastery threshold. Upload your own study guides and slide decks — the tutor teaches from your material, not a generic textbook.
“Encourage the student to reason it out — never give the final answer outright…”
Content management
Bring your own teaching content.
Generate your own interactive boards in the Thetas studio, add your YouTube videos to the tutor's knowledge, and contribute your own questions with markschemes — all graded the same way as the built-in bank.
Three-Dimensional Assessment Framework
See exactly which Bloom stage each student is stuck on.
Tracks whether students can explain the concept in their own words — not just produce a keyword.
Tracks transfer to unfamiliar problems. Catches pattern-matchers who memorise without understanding.
Tracks reasoning about edge cases and cross-topic connections — the hardest, most exam-relevant dimension.
Pricing
Educator and institution plans are quoted per organisation, because what they cost depends on how many students you have, which subjects you teach and how much of the platform you want built around your own syllabus. Tell us what you are running and we will put a proper number in front of you.
A quotation covers the platform, the adaptive engine, hosting and support in a single monthly fee, with AI tutoring included rather than metered. Where you want your own syllabus, question bank and teaching content brought onto the platform, that is quoted separately as a one-off.
Thetas is in closed beta. Educator accounts are approved individually so we can onboard each one properly.
Quick answers
- Can I keep using my student account?
- Yes — same email, same login. You're a student AND an educator at the same time. Use the tutor like a student to test prompts, then switch into the teacher portal.
- What happens when my class runs out of tokens?
- Students see a "monthly limit reached" prompt. They can buy a one-off credit (small fixed price) to keep going, or upgrade their personal plan. You as the educator can also lift the cap from the class settings.
- Do students need to pay?
- No — being added to your class gives them subscription benefits inherited from your plan. They only pay if they want to use the platform beyond your class's monthly allowance.
- Is creating a class the only thing that costs?
- Yes. Browsing, editing prompts globally, and reading the question bank are all free. Class creation is what triggers the subscription, because that's where the platform actually serves students at scale.
